- A Missouri Marriage License may be used for a marriage ceremony anywhere in Missouri but may not be used for a ceremony in another State.
- 30 Day License Expiration
Your Missouri Marriage License must be used for a ceremony in Missouri within 30 days after it has been picked up.
If you do not use the Marriage License for a Marriage Ceremony, you must return it to:

Ceremony must be performed in Missouri and officiated by a U.S. citizen who is a clergy in good standing with a Missouri congregation, or a judge of a court of record, or as otherwise set forth in Missouri Statute.
Two Witnesses to the ceremony must sign the Marriage License.
Within 15 Days after the Ceremony, the clergy or judge officiating at the Ceremony must complete, sign, and return the Marriage License to:
