City Hall Welcomes U.S. Troops and Veterans
With Heroes Window Messages

Employees of the St. Louis City Recorder of Deeds decorated their Market Street windows on Wednesday with posters for Saturday's first in the Nation Welcome Home Heroes Parade.

The north windows of the Recorder & Registrar's lunchroom, IT Office, and Imaging/Microfilm Department at City Hall proclaim "Welcome Home Heroes," "Thank You For Your Service," and other messages of praise and thanks to the U.S. Troops who served in the Second Iraq War.

The City's Recorder and Registrar Office provides free Military Discharge recordation services to U.S. Veterans, maintains World War I Veterans Missouri Pension records, raises money each year to support Soldiers Memorial, and is very proud of the Recorder and Registrar employees and families who are serving or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.
