New Registration Deadline for
Missouri Electronic Vital Records System

The State of Missouri has established August 1, 2012, as the new deadline for doctors and funeral directors to register with the Missouri Electronic Vital Records (MoEVR) System.

Former Employee Ernestine Hill Passes

Recorder of Deeds & Vital Records Registrar Sharon Quigley Carpenter and employees are saddened to learn of the death last Saturday of friend and former colleague Ernestine Hill, nee Walker.

Ernestine had been employed many years at City Hall, first for the Collector of Revenue and then the Recorder.

She served 28 years as Democratic Committeewoman of St. Louis City's 18th Ward and had been a proud, active resident of the Lewis Place Neighborhood.

Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Patrick Hill, Sr. and daughter Joyce McGhee Porter.

She is survived by daughters Barbara Hill (LeAndrew) Moore and Maria C. Hill and sons Willie Hill, Jr., Derrick Walker (Janelle) Hill, and Karl Benjamin Hill. Condolences to all of Ernestine's loved ones.

Visitation is at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, April 19) at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church, 1220 Rev. G.H. Pruitt Place @ 4570 Page.

Former Employee Barb Bujnak Passes

Recorder of Deeds & Vital Records Registrar Sharon Quigley Carpenter and employees mourn the death of friend and former colleague Barbara "Barb" Bujnak, nee Federspiel, who died on Saturday.

Bujnak worked at the Recorder & Registrar's Office for twenty-six years. She was supervisor of the former Uniform Commercial Code Department and also had worked in the Marriage License and Birth Records Departments.

She is survived by her husband Robert A. Bujnak, Sr. and children Joann (Richard) Hollingsworth, Robert (Shelley) Bujnak, Jr., Laurie (Glenn) Witt, David (Lori) Bujnak, John (Michelle) Bujnak, Dennis (Christin) Bujnak, Lynn (Lance) Coats, and Caryn Bujnak.

Condolences to all of Barb's loved ones.

Visitation is 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois. Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mary, Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Road.
