Free Property Fraud Alert

According to the FBI, Property and Mortgage Fraud is the fastest growing white-collar crime. It can be as simple as someone recording a fraudulent document in the County Land records offices, making it look like they now own your home or property.

To help you stay safe, City of St. Louis’ Recorder of Deeds, Michael Butler, has created an interactive notification service.

It’s both free and easy to sign up.  If a claim is falsely made against your home or business property, you can choose to receive an alert, right away. You can even choose how you receive the message - email or phone call.

Property Fraud Alert - a free service provided by your City of St Louis Recorder of Deeds - Office of Michael Butler.
